In Symbiosis of Life 6, an older man, a woman and a child look out from a tangle of leaves, flowers and berries. An owl, a fox and a stag with branching antlers emerge among them. A kingfisher perches by the flowing water, and a butterfly spreads its wings above. A golden sun and a crescent moon bring day and night together in a single landscape.
Dark outlines and fields of saturated colour recall stained glass. The red of the fox reappears in the flowers and faces, while the blues of the kingfisher carry into the water. People, animals and nature share a rhythm of line and colour, and each figure retains its own character.
Up close, the painting reveals a second layer. The mosaic is built from 67,600 miniature photographs drawn from MikoArt’s own portfolio. A feather, an eye or a leaf turns out to hold dozens of small images. Each miniature adds colour and texture while offering a glimpse of another artwork.
Step back and the fragments come together again. That shift gives the title a second meaning. Just as the people, animals and plants in the painting share their surroundings, the larger picture emerges from the relationships between the individual miniatures.
