Crystal Bloom

About this work

Crystal Bloom presents an abstract, radial pattern recalling an icy flower or a crystalline star. From the centre a symmetrical composition of sharply cut forms unfolds, like facets of ice or snow crystals. The dominant colours are cool white and grey, cut through with bright blue accents that light up like luminous cores within the forms. The planes appear three-dimensional, as though folding inwards and outwards, which gives a sense of depth and movement.
