About this work

Radiant Fracture presents an explosive, almost sculptural abstraction that seems to float in a neutral space. From the centre countless sharp, layered strips and planes radiate outwards, as though the work were built up from thousands of thin ribbons or crystals frozen in motion. The colours are dominated by fresh yellows and greens, alternating with accents of turquoise, white, purple and soft pink.
