About this work

In this painting I present Albert Einstein not as the remote scientist behind formulae, but as a man full of wonder. His iconic, wild white hair seems almost to move, as though thoughts could not be tamed. The lines in his face are not signs of old age but traces of a life full of questions. Colourful butterflies flutter around his head: symbols of freedom, imagination and transformation.
