About this work

In this painting I present a loving, poetic rendering of the evolution of humankind, with love as its end point and driving force. From left to right we see a series of silhouettes representing the development of humanity and consciousness: from a stooped, primitive figure to an upright modern human being. The figures are executed soberly in black and white, almost as shadows, which makes them feel timeless and universal.
