About this work

Origami Relief presents an abstract, geometric relief reminiscent of folded paper or origami. The surface consists of a crisp grid of square planes, but each plane is subtly pleated, creased or domed, creating a strongly three-dimensional effect. Light and shadow play the leading part: sharp folds catch the light, while deep pleats cast soft shadows and so suggest movement within a fixed structure.
