About this work

Transparent Structure presents an abstract composition built up from transparent planes of colour, stripes and textures that overlap one another. The image is divided into a grid-like structure, but the boundaries are soft and blurred, so that everything seems to run into everything else. The colours are intense and varied: vivid green, yellow, red, blue, purple and pink alternate and mix in layers.
