About this work

Crossed Frequencies presents an abstract, layered composition of criss-crossing lines and planes in vivid, contrasting colours. Horizontal and vertical strips in red, yellow, green, blue and purple run through one another and form a complex grid that seems to bend and undulate. The transparent layers provide depth, as though several constructions were visible at once. The lines are not crisply straight but lightly distorted, evoking a sense of movement and tension.
