About this work

Soft Geometry presents a playful and lively abstract image in which geometry and colour come together. At the centre stands a form recalling a tautly stretched cushion or a soft, elastic star: rounded at the centre, with four pointed corners drawn out towards the edges. This central form seems almost three-dimensional, as though coming forward out of the plane. The background is built up from a grid of large, coloured planes in bright tones such as yellow, turquoise, purple, pink, green and blue.
