Soft yet powerful colours flow across her skin, while butterflies float around her. These butterflies do not seem merely decorative: they symbolise transformation, freedom and vulnerability. The elegant pose, the dramatic make-up and the luxurious white of her clothing give her a regal presence, but her gaze remains human and sensitive.
