About this work

Neon Currents presents an abstract, dynamic composition of flowing neon lines against a deep black background. Vivid colours such as turquoise, yellow, magenta, green and red wind in undulating paths through the image and together form a powerful spiral movement towards the centre. The lines appear luminous, as though made of energy or electrical currents, and cross and interweave with one another without ever really coming to rest.
