About this work

Chromatic Portal presents an abstract, layered space recalling a vista or a tunnel, built up from several rectangular frames running ever further inwards. Each frame is saturated with intense, transparent colours lying over one another: vivid green, cyan, magenta, red, yellow and deep blue. The paint-like textures and smears give the whole a raw, almost organic character, as though the colours had been smeared out, spattered and built up again.
