About this work

Layered Transparency presents an abstract, geometric composition in which colour, transparency and layering take centre stage. The image is built up from rounded squares and rectangles that overlap one another and seem to shift in different directions. The colours are bright and full of contrast: pink, purple, blue, yellow, green and orange flow into one another and create a lively, almost luminous effect.
