About this work

Playful Geometry presents a crisp, geometric universe that feels playful and spatial at the same time. The image is built up from a grid of squares in bright, contrasting colours: yellow, green, blue, pink, orange and earth tones. Each square seems to have been modelled three-dimensionally, as though coming forward or being pressed inwards. This creates a relief-like effect, comparable to a mosaic of blocks or an abstract architecture.
