About this work

Structured Orbit presents a powerful, abstract composition with a strongly three-dimensional effect. At the centre floats a sphere, built up from crisply arranged, elongated strips in turquoise, yellow and accents of magenta. The sphere seems to act as a core or source of energy from which countless vertical and diagonal "pipes" or beam-like forms shoot explosively outwards. The background is entirely filled with these fanning structures, giving the image a dynamic, almost centrifugal effect.
