New series: Symbiosis of Life
I have started Symbiosis of Life, a new series that will eventually comprise 25 unique artworks. In this series, I explore the connection between humans, animals and nature. Faces, animal forms, leaves, flowers and flowing water merge into colourful compositions full of symbolism.
Each work is built from 67,600 miniature photos of paintings from my own MikoArt portfolio. From a distance, these small images form one coherent composition. Up close, you discover the individual paintings that together give the new work its colour, structure and depth.
The first two paintings, Symbiosis of Life 1 and Symbiosis of Life 2, are now available to view. Use the detail zoom to explore the mosaic up close and discover the miniature photos that make up the image.

Epoxy Liquid Gloss® on Alu-Dibond
Printed on Fuji Crystal DP II Ultra HD, bonded to 4 mm Alu-Dibond and hand-finished with approximately 3 mm of epoxy resin. The mirror-like gloss enhances colour and optical depth. Each artwork comes with a metal hanging system, ready to hang.
Certified Art Giclée™ on museum canvas
High-resolution giclée printing with Epson UltraChrome® RS inks on cotton-blend canvas. The pigment inks preserve fine detail and rich colour variations, while the matte surface has a warm, natural character. A black floating frame is available as an option. The framing included with each artwork is specified on its artwork page.
Unique and certified
Every physical MikoArt artwork is a unique 1/1 piece, signed on the front, with a signature and unique artwork number on the back, and supplied with an official Certificate of Authenticity.
Independent artistic valuation
The original Liquid Gloss® 1/1 artworks have been valued by J.A. Akoun France at a minimum of € 3,250. This valuation is supported by an Artist Value Certification through Artmajeur.
Sizes and prices
Artworks are available from € 2,250, in sizes including 80×80 cm, 120×120 cm and 175×100 cm. Each artwork page specifies the available finish, size, framing and price.
Your unique 1/1 artwork is produced especially for you to order, with a delivery time of 5–15 working days. Because your artwork is custom made specifically for you, returns are not possible.

MikoArt — 1/1 artworks
I am Miechel Kockelkoren, the artist behind MikoArt. Based in Mechelen in South Limburg, the Netherlands, I create digital paintings that explore colour, light, texture and layering.
Each work begins on a blank digital canvas. Through drawing, digital painting and experimentation, I build compositions that explore abstract, geometric, figurative, surreal and industrial subjects.
My new series, Symbiosis of Life, brings people, animals and nature together in colourful photo mosaics. Each work is composed of 67,600 miniature photos of paintings from my own MikoArt portfolio.
My digital paintings are produced as unique physical 1/1 artworks, finished in Epoxy Liquid Gloss® on Alu-Dibond or as Certified Art Giclée™ on museum-grade canvas. Each physical artwork is signed and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
A selection of my work is also available as separate 1/1 NFTs in the MikoArt 1/1 collection on OpenSea. The physical artwork and the digital NFT are separate collectables and are offered individually.
