Playful Geometry presents a crisp, geometric universe that feels playful and spatial at the same time. The image is built up from a grid of squares in bright, contrasting colours: yellow, green, blue, pink, orange and earth tones. Each square seems to have been modelled three-dimensionally, as though coming forward or being pressed inwards. This creates a relief-like effect, comparable to a mosaic of blocks or an abstract architecture.
At the centre a subtle cross-shaped opening forms, where the planes come together and the depth is felt most strongly. The surrounding squares bend and curve slightly, giving the whole an almost spherical, distorted perspective. The painting therefore seems not flat but rather like an object under tension. The colours are carefully distributed: they provide balance and rhythm, but also a dynamic tension between order and deformation. The work evokes associations with digital worlds, puzzles or a futuristic cityscape, and invites the viewer to keep searching for patterns, depth and coherence.
